Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
